For ocean-lovers, the options are endless. Explore the reef on a day cruise, or go sailing the Whitsundays on a chartered yacht. Try scuba diving or snorkelling, or go out on fishing charters for a taste of big game fishing in a magnificent location. For the adventurous, parasailing and skydiving will give you a thrilling view of Airlie Beach.

Check out the great wildlife parks in the area with koalas, kangaroos and crocodiles, and a shark and whale expo that the kids will love! They'll see real man-eating sharks and learn more about the ocean's creatures. And then they can swim in the Airlie Beach lagoon, where they're guaranteed a fun and safe time.

Away from the water, check out the rainforests and parks that surround the area. You'll find bushwalking trails and secluded spots for a picnic. Or head out to a deserted island or beaches for a private moment. Take a trip down to Shute Harbour for some shopping, or check out the great community markets open every Saturday.
